This is a charming, antique promotional children’s Christmas booklet – “Presents Past and Present” issued by the FREDERICK LOESER & CO. department store. Circa 1910’s (there is no date of publication stated); Frederick Loeser & Co.; Brooklyn, New York. There are 12 pages in all (including the covers); each page is illustrated in color. “Frederick Loeser & Co.” was a prominent department store in Brooklyn, New York, that operated for nearly a century, from 1860 until 1952. At its peak, it was the second largest department store in Brooklyn and was considered a major landmark of the Fulton Street shopping district. The booklet measures 7 1/2″ tall x 5 1/2″ wide.
